REPORT SERIES
San Diego, March 29, 1999 - Marketingweb.com announced today
that IBM will participate in the Marketingweb.com Special Report
Series entitled The E-Commerce Race. This report series features
interviews with IT industry leaders whose companies are developing
small business e-commerce solutions.
Karl Salnoske, general manager of
e-commerce for IBM will be interviewed by Diane W. Collins,
president of Marketingweb.com in the Marketingweb.com Forum,
a Java-based chat room on April 7, 1999, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30
p.m., Pacific. The focus of the interview will be IBM's small
business e-commerce strategy, technology, and customers. The
interview is open to the public, however, "seating " is
limited. Reservations are required.
The interview with IBM marks the second in a series of five
that make up The E-Commerce Race - Special Report Series. The
purpose of the series is to provide information to small businesses
considering the addition or expansion of e-commerce within their
overall marketing strategy. The growing list and variety of e-commerce
solutions aimed at small businesses can be overwhelming. Marketingweb.com
will attempt to categorize three basic design platforms available
to small businesses: template commerce; shrink-wrap commerce;
and custom commerce.
Founded in 1997, Marketingweb.com is an Internet marketing
consultancy. The company focuses on providing online training
and information covering Internet marketing and e-commerce issues.
The Marketingweb.com Community is composed of small businesses
that are either in the process of developing or plan to develop
an e-commerce enabled Internet presence.
